Social Service Specialist 1 Professional Development

Congratulations on your employment with the Department of Human Services Child Welfare division!  As you might be aware, there are several classroom training clusters that are required to be completed by each new SSS1 employee throughout different periods in their first year of hire.  This flow chart will show you the training and field activity requirements for your first year of hire, and will give you a better idea of what to expect in regards to the training that PSU offers SSS1 employees.


Additionally, this page has been created to help you with identifying and registering for required (and optional!) training that is offered through PSU.
